Impact

Charitable Health Facilities (CHFs) in India are crucial for delivering affordable healthcare to marginalized communities, especially in remote areas. These institutions focus on both curative and preventive healthcare. However, they encounter challenges like inadequate infrastructure and staffing shortages. To strengthen CHFs nationwide, securing financial and technical support is essential.

Collaborating with corporate entities engaged in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives is a promising avenue. These organizations can contribute through fund mobilization, project sponsorship, in-kind support, and advocacy campaigns. However, CSR funders encounter challenges in discerning genuine and impactful healthcare projects, leading to an information gap between charitable hospitals and CSR contributors. Recognizing this gap, UJIYARA launches a marketplace initiative to connect CSR funders directly to CHFs.
